There also is Bat Cards where you can find hall of fame and current superstar baseball players' game used bat cards.  Baseball card collections easily are improved and begun by purchasing cards through the links here.  Please check out the newest site, Traded Set , for details about Topps Traded, Fleer Update, and Donruss the Rookies sets including vintage and modern day superstar rookie cards (xrc's).  Upper Deck also has made some updated sets as well, the site will begin discussing those shortly also.

Alex Rodriguez has several different rookie cards from 1994 in Major League Baseball licensed sets.  His most expensive and sought after rookie card is the 1994 Upper Deck SP rookie.  It books at $100 in the April/May 2006 Beckett Plus Baseball price guide and in addition to that, a gem mint graded copy from PSA or BGS can fetch a high dollar sale price far exceeding that $100 book value.  He has other rookie cards that are more affordable including 1994 Upper Deck, 1994 Fleer Update rookie and 1994 Upper Deck Collector's Choice.

He can challenge for the all time home run record held currently by Barry Bonds.  He is young enough to have plenty of time, barring prolonged injury, to easily break the record if he continues hitting home runs at the pace he does now.

His rookie cards are great to invest in if you think that he will be able to break the home run record, or if you just want cards of one of the best players in baseball right now.  He also, even at this stage, very likely to be inducted into the hall of fame on the first ballot, in my opinion.  There is a post following this one on this thread with a link to Alex Rodriguez rookie cards.

I think that he has an opportunity to break the all time home run record if he can avoid any serious injuries in the rest of his career.  He is young enough to still have many more highly productive years in major league baseball.  It will be interesting to see if he can get close to the record.  To find more of his cards including listings of his rookie cards, please click the link below and thank you for visiting the site to read this article.
